The Canadian government has proposed important changes to immigration rules for skilled professionals 🇨🇦

Today, programs such as:
• Federal Skilled Worker
• Canadian Experience Class
• Federal Skilled Trades

are part of the Express Entry system.

👉 But this may change.

The proposal (yes, just a proposal for now) is to create a new federal class for skilled workers, with simpler and more streamlined criteria — replacing the current programs.

💡 The goal:
• Make the system easier to understand
• Attract a more diverse pool of talent
• Better meet the needs of the Canadian labour market

And it’s worth remembering: when the Express Entry system was introduced in January 2015, it also raised many questions and concerns at the time. But in the end, it turned out to be a very positive change!

Now, we’ll continue to follow these updates closely to understand what’s coming next 👀
