Harrington v. Dow Corning Corp. helped change the course of class action litigation in B.C. The case, involving claims that silicone breast implants caused rupture, leakage, and other serious complications for women, became the first class action certified in the province.

David Klein was there from the beginning as part of the plaintiff counsel team that filed and litigated the case.

This case did more than shape legal history. It gave women who suffered devastating harm a voice, proved there is strength in numbers, made it harder for powerful defendants to avoid responsibility, and gave others, for decades to come, hope that justice was within reach.
