We’re Hiring!

We are looking for a practice manager (that’s what we call our legal administrative assistants) to join our team for an 18-month contract.

As a practice manager at Miller Titerle, you will help your team keep track of all the moving parts by coordinating workflows, tracking outstanding deliverables and documents, and generally helping us stay on top of our service commitments. On June 16, Leah George Wilson will co-chair the Indigenous Legal Orders Conference 2023: Stand Up Indigenous Law. Dr. Sarah Morales (Su-taxwiye) will sit alongside Leah as co-chair, and Merle Alexander, KC will join as Faculty.

The course is open to all levels and welcomes anyone involved in legal issues respecting Indigenous peoples and in building constructive partnerships in Canada. This is a unique course as it does not discuss Aboriginal Law but rather Indigenous legal traditions themselves in a broad discussion that will touch on many legal fields such as health, criminal justice, child welfare, environmental law, land-based planning, as well as hybrid solutions where attempts are being made to “indigenize” current legal processes.
