Buying a new-construction home as a first-time buyer in BC? You may qualify for up to $50,000 back on the federal GST.

The new First-Time Home Buyer GST Rebate (in effect since March 20, 2025) eliminates the GST entirely on qualifying new homes priced at $1,000,000 or below, and phases out to zero at $1,500,000.
