August was another slower month for the Greater Vancouver market.

Home sales were down 4.6% from last August and 20.7% below the 10-year average. Inventory is still well above average, while prices slipped another 0.6% from July.

If you're selling, pricing and preparation matter more than ever. If you're buying, there’s more choice and softer pricing, but every neighbourhood and property type is different.

Heading into fall, I expect the market to remain challenging. Nobody has a crystal ball, but having honest advice and no-BS guidance matters right now.

A great trip to China visiting our manufacturing partners and seeing firsthand how our products are made.

One of the biggest takeaways was meeting the people behind the process. It was great to see employees who genuinely enjoyed their work and took pride in what they do. Their positive attitude, attention to detail, and teamwork were evident throughout every factory we visited.
