Today marks National Indigenous Peoples Day, a time to celebrate the culture and heritage of First Nations peoples, Inuit, and Métis across Canada.

For generations, many Indigenous peoples chose the summer solstice to celebrate with their communities, and today we choose to celebrate along with them, recognizing their history, traditions, and culture.

We encourage everyone to learn more about National Indigenous Peoples Day events in your communities and look for ways to engage in the reconciliation conversation.
