H&C SUPPORTING SERVICE

An H&C (Humanitarian & Compassionate) application is more than forms. It’s about how your story is presented and supported. In many cases, these evidences can strengthen an application, including:

- Certified translations & notarization: ensure IRCC accepts and understand your documents

- Psychological input: for cases involving children, mental health concerns, seniors, or long-term hardship

- Independent third-party documentation: that explains the real human impact behind the case

At E-Pathway Immigration, we work with trusted partners experienced in H&C cases and help coordinate and prioritize appointments to meet application timelines.

Contact us today for a case assessment to determine what evidence may help strengthen your application.

🏠 STAY WITH YOUR PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS IN CANADA WITH SUPER VISA

Are you dreaming of more time with your family? Unlike a regular visitor visa, the Super Visa allows parents and grandparents to stay in Canada for up to 5 years at a time, with the ability to request extensions of up to 2 years while here.

Why Choose the Super Visa?
✅ Multiple Entries: Valid for up to 10 years.
✅ Longer Stays: Spend years, not just months, with your loved ones.
✅Peace of Mind: Ensure they are protected with comprehensive medical coverage.

Who Can Apply?
For the Sponsor:
👉Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Registered Indian.
👉Must be 18+ years old and currently living in Canada.
👉Must meet the Minimum Necessary Income (MNI) based on your household size (LICO tables).
👉Must provide a signed invitation letter promising financial support (spouses/partners can co-sign!).

For the Parents/Grandparents:
👉Must apply from outside Canada.
👉Must be admissible to Canada (criminal and security checks).
👉Must complete an Immigration Medical Exam (IME).

Medical Insurance: to keep your family safe, proof of paid private medical insurance is mandatory. As of January 2026, IRCC requirements state the policy must:
✅ Be valid for at least 1 year from the date of entry.
✅ Cover healthcare, hospitalization, and repatriation.
✅ Provide at least $100,000 in coverage.
✅ Be fully paid (official quotes are no longer sufficient).

Pro Tip: Since January 2025, IRCC has updated its policy to allow insurance from international companies, provided they meet specific OSFI-related conditions. Always ensure your provider is on the approved list!

TRP: WHAT IT IS AND WHY IT’S NOT A SHORTCUT

1. What is a TRP?
A Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) is only for people who are inadmissible to Canada. Applying for a TRP means telling IRCC:
👉 “I know I’m not allowed to stay, but please make an exception.”

2. Who is TRP actually for?
TRP is not for everyone. It’s meant for exceptional cases, such as:
✔ Victims of family violence (for safety)
✔ Serious medical cases needing treatment in Canada

3. Why you should NOT use TRP as a shortcut
⚠️ You officially declare yourself inadmissible
⚠️ Wanting to work or make money is not a valid reason
⚠️ High risk of refusal
⚠️ A refusal can expose you to enforcement or removal

👉 Contact us today to confirm whether a TRP is right for you.

📍 POLICY ALERT: 8 Major Cities Re-Open for Low-Wage LMIAs

Date: January 08, 2026

If you are an employer or a worker in the "Low-Wage" stream (jobs paying below the provincial median wage), this update might change your immigration decision:

🛑 What was the problem?

In late 2025, several cities were "frozen." If your job offer was in regions where the unemployment rate is 6% or higher, the Canadian government refuses to process low-wage LMIA applications in regions where the unemployment rate is 6% or higher.

✅ What is the solution now?

As of January 8, 2026, unemployment has dropped in 8 major regions. They will now be eligible for low-wage LMIA processing in the first quarter of 2026.

🚀 Action Plan:

1. For Employers: The "Golden Window"

You have from now until April 10, 2026 (the next review date) to submit your LMIA. If unemployment spikes above 6% again in April, these cities will close again.

CONTACT US TODAY FOR DETAILS: [email protected] or (+1) 604-562-2032

2. For Workers: Target these Cities

If you are looking for a job that pays a "low wage" (typically entry-level, retail, or hospitality), focus your search specifically on these 8 cities.

3. The "High-Wage" Shortcut (Still valid everywhere)

Remember, if the job pays above the provincial median wage, these unemployment rules do not apply. You can apply for a High-Wage LMIA in ANY city (even Toronto or Calgary) regardless of the unemployment rate.

Need help processing your application? Contact us today to ensure your application isn't rejected for a minor technicality.

HOW TO KEEP YOUR PARENTS IN CANADA FOR 5+ YEARS

IRCC has officially paused new intakes for the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) throughout 2026, and Humanitarian & Compassionate (H&C) requests outside of Canada.

SO, WHAT ARE THE SOLUTIONS?
🔑SUPER VISA: the most reliable and fastest way to reunite with your family.
✅ Stay Longer: Up to 5 years per entry.
✅ Multi-Entry: Valid for up to 10 years.
✅ No Lottery: Apply anytime if you meet the income and insurance requirements.

🔑Last Solution: Humanitarian & Compassionate (H&C) However, please note this is the last option for in-Canada applicants only who can prove significant, life-altering hardship if they were forced to return to their home country

UPDATE: IRCC IMPLEMENTS PAUSE ON PGP APPLICATIONS FOR 2026

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued Ministerial Instructions 89 (MI89), which mandates a formal suspension of new applications for the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP). This directive became effective on January 1, 2026, and will remain in place until further notice.

❌Processing Limits: IRCC will prioritize a maximum of 10,000 applications remaining from the 2025 intake cycle.

❌No New Intakes: There will be no opportunity to submit new "Interest to Sponsor" forms or applications throughout 2026.

❌ H&C Restrictions: Humanitarian and Compassionate (H&C) requests from outside Canada will not be considered during this period.
-----------------------------------
IMPORTANT CLARIFICATIONS:
A Strategic Pause: It is a temporary suspension, not a permanent cancellation of the program or a change to Canadian immigration law.

Future Reopening: IRCC has not yet announced a specific date for when the program will accept new interest forms.

Eligibility Note: Only those who successfully submitted an Interest to Sponsor form in previous years and are currently in the queue remain under consideration; new families cannot enter the pool in 2026.

📚✈️ LANDING IN CANADA AS A STUDENT: WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER ARRIVAL

1. Filling Forms & Declarations :
After landing, you’ll use a Primary Inspection Kiosk (P*K) to declare what you’re bringing into Canada (cash, food, alcohol, goods, etc.).
Kiosks are available in multiple languages. If you need extra help, you can also use Google Translate camera on the screen.

2. Going Through Customs Check:
Keep these important documents in your carry-on in case the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) asks for them:
✅ Letter of Introduction (study permit approval letter from IRCC)
✅ Letter of Acceptance from your school
✅ Proof of tuition payment & financial support (e.g., recent bank statement, Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC))
✅ Housing details (address, rental agreement, or residence confirmation)

3. Getting Your Study Permit at the Airport:
After clearing customs, you’ll go to the immigration/secondary office inside the airport where your study permit is printed and issued.
An officer may:
✔️ Ask about your school, program, and financial support
✔️ Review and explain conditions on your study permit (e.g., work eligibility, program type, study requirements)
ℹ️ Tip: Double-check your study permit before leaving the airport to ensure your name, school, program length, and work conditions are correct.

🇨🇦 Switching careers to boost your Express Entry chances?
You might not need years of education or a provincial nomination to qualify for Canada’s category-based Express Entry draws! 🎯

If your CRS score is low, you don’t speak French, and don’t have a provincial nomination, building just 6 months of work experience in certain jobs could be your golden ticket to PR. 🛬🍁

Here are some of the easiest jobs to break into that are eligible for category-based draws:

👨‍🏫 Teacher Assistants – Support classrooms, 10–24 months college program
🩺 Medical Lab Assistants – Collect & prepare lab samples, under 2 years training
🧑‍⚕️ Nurse Aides – Help patients with daily care, PSW training or on-the-job
💊 Pharmacy Assistants – Support pharmacists, 6–12 months training
🧑‍🍳 Cooks – Work experience or apprenticeship
🧱 Concrete Finishers – No formal education required, can start directly
🛠 Floor Covering Installers / Painters / Roofers – On-the-job training available
🔪 Butchers – Retail/wholesale roles, training from 4 weeks
💼 Insurance Agents & Brokers – Licensing required, can be done in weeks

These roles belong to in-demand sectors like: Healthcare, Trades, Education, STEM, Agri-food. Most take under 2 years to train for – some just weeks! ⏳

✅ All you need:
• 6 months full-time work in one job
• Meet basic Express Entry requirements
• Be in the eligible NOC list for a category-based draw

This path might be your fastest route to PR without needing high CRS scores! 💼✈️

📌 Interested? Start with short training programs or entry-level roles that match your background or interests.
