A settlement has been reached in the Behr DeckOver . The action concerns certain Behr DeckOver products purchased or applied to wooden, composite, or concrete surfaces in Canada during the Class Period. The settlement must be approved by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

You may be a Class Member if you purchased and applied DeckOver, paid to have it applied, or own a surface in Canada where DeckOver was applied.

Important dates:
Opt-out and objection deadline: October 14, 2026
Settlement hearing: November 19, 2026

The settlement with Vancouver College, St. Thomas More Collegiate, and the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Vancouver is now finalized, and the claims process has begun.

A website for the claims process (https://www.bcchristianbrothersclaims.ca/) provides detailed information about submitting your claim for compensation. To make a claim, you must submit the mandatory Claim Form available on the claims administration website before the deadline of September 13, 2027.

If you had previous communications with our law firm, those previous communications did not start a claim or make you eligible for compensation. You must fill out and submit a Claim Form to have your claim considered.

A settlement has been reached with Navitax Property Tax Consulting Paralegal Professional Corporation (“Navitax”) for $900,000.

The settlement with Navitax must be approved by the court. A settlement approval hearing will take place on October 28, 2026 at 9:00 am EST at the courthouse in London, Ontario.

The deadline to opt out of the , object or provide comments on the settlement, the distribution plan or the lawyers’ fees is 12:00 pm PST on Monday, October 19, 2026.

Today marks six years since the downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752 on January 8, 2020, a tragedy that took 185 lives, including many Canadian citizens and residents.

On November 14th, the Yukon Supreme Court approved the settlement agreement between the families of students at Jack Hulland Elementary School and the Yukon government. This resolves the class action in its entirety and Class Members will soon be able to make claims for compensation.

You are a Class Member of this class action if you were a student of Jack Hulland between January 1, 2007 and June 30, 2022, and you were subjected to a hold, restraint, locked in a room, and/or placed in seclusion.

We strongly recommend that Class Members provide us with their contact details so we can provide you with information about the file and how to make a claim, when the claims process opens.

If you bought or leased a new vehicle that was manufactured overseas or if you purchased Vehicle Carrier Services between February 1, 1997 and December 31, 2012, you may be a Class Member.

A third settlement has been reached in the Vehicle Carriers (RoRo) Class Action.
The Settlement is subject to approval by the courts in Quebec, British Columbia and Ontario. These hearings will take place:

• On December 15th, 2025 at 9:30am by virtual hearing and in person at the Montreal courthouse at 1, rue Notre-Dame Est, Montréal, Québec,

• On February 5th, 2026 at 9:00am at the Vancouver courthouse at 800 Smithe Street, Vancouver, British Columbia; and

• On November 19th, 2025 at 2:30pm by virtually hearing in Ontario.

At the hearings, the courts will decide whether the Settlement Agreement is fair, reasonable and in the best interests of the class members.

JACK HULLAND CLASS ACTION UPDATE.

A settlement has been reached with Yukon and a settlement approval hearing has been scheduled for October 29th-30th, 2025 at the Supreme Court of Yukon.

This alleges that there was a systemic practice of using holds, restraints and seclusions to control students’ behaviour at Jack Hulland Elementary School. You are a class member if you were a student at JHES between January 1st, 2007 and June 30th, 2022 and were subjected to a hold, restraint and/or locked in a room and/or placed in seclusion and did not opt out of the class action.

The proposed settlement includes compensation through an approved claims process, access to a special counselling fund to help reimburse costs not covered by any government or private insurance plan, and more.
