Mariane is one of our talented paralegals with a unique set of cross-functional skills. She supports a number of our lawyers on our Corporate/Commercial, Commercial Real Estate & Development, and Lending/Insolvency teams.

Leading up to her work anniversary, we asked Mariane a few questions to reflect on her career with us so far:

⚖️ What drew you to the legal industry?

I have always been passionate about reading, learning, and understanding how systems and relationships work. I was naturally drawn to the legal field because it combines analytical thinking with problem-solving and continuous learning. I enjoy the challenge of navigating complex situations and helping bring structure and clarity to them.

🙌 What is it about Koffman Kalef that made you pursue a long-term career here?

Koffman Kalef has given me the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally over the years. I have had the privilege of working with and learning from talented professionals while building meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients. The firm’s collaborative environment and commitment to continuous learning have played an important role in my professional journey.

🏆 What is your favorite professional achievement while working at the firm?

One of my proudest achievements has been the professional growth I’ve experienced throughout my time at the firm. I’ve had the opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions, take on increasing responsibilities, and learn from exceptional mentors and leaders in the legal industry. Looking back, I am especially grateful for the trust, guidance, and experiences that helped shape the professional I am today.
