From the data released by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, the numbers are consistent with the third consecutive monthly price decrease. With buyers now waiting on the sidelines, and an increase in listings, up 4% from this time last year, the increased upward pressure from months past is easing.
  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What this means as a buyer is that you now have more listings to view, and more time to search for that perfect home, as the times of multiple offers far exceeding the listing price has dissipated. As a seller, you can begin to understand the reasons for this more “buyer-centric” market.

Though the prices have dropped, in order to get to achieve affordability by 2030, the CHMC has laid out an ambitious goal of requiring 570,000 new homes.
