In recognition of the Truth and Reconciliation Day to be observed on September 30, 2021, the staff at EBS would like to show our support and honour the lost children and Survivors of residential schools by expressing our ongoing support to the members of our community.

We have 6 Orange t-shirts (3 med adult and 3 large adult) which we would like to give to members of our community in recognition of Phyllis Webstad who, on her first day of residential school, wore a new Orange shirt. The Orange Shirt was subsequently taken away from her.

These tees will be given to the first 6 individuals who come to our Timmins firm and ring the bell at the backdoor located in our parking at 120 Pine Street South, Timmins.

On September 30th, 2021, please remember to wear Orange to show your support of the thousands of survivors and raise awareness of the very tragic legacy of residential schools.

Khalil joined the EBS team in 2018 as an Associate Lawyer. Khalil’s main areas of practice include criminal litigation, real estate, landlord and tenant matters, provincial offenses and parole board hearings.

In August 2021 Khalil began his tenure as the Vice President of the Cochrane Law Association. Which operates as an association to represent the interests of the legal profession in the District of Cochrane.

Khalil obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Carleton University, in Ottawa, Ontario. He went on to pursue his LL.B at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. Khalil was a successful mooter. He was a finalist in the Canadian Constitutional Law moot held at the Canadian High Commission in London, England.

In his spare time, Khalil is a coach of the Timmins Ski Racers. He is an active volunteer at the Annual T**e St. Haunted House in support of the Porcupine Food Bank. He also enjoys traveling, playing sports and scuba diving.

Paul Bragagnolo is the managing partner at EBS LLP. Paul is a successful trial lawyer who enjoys the challenge of representing a wide range of cases and using his skills and experience to the benefit of his clients. His practice includes criminal law, general litigation, commercial and residential real estate and drafting of wills and estate administration.

Paul is a member of the Cochrane Law Association and has served as president. He is a member of long-standing of the Porcupine Dante Club, an Italian cultural club in Timmins.
