Rubinoff Law is a reputable, high volume leading boutique real estate law firm located in Thornhill, Ontario. We offer a high level of work flow, support, and opportunities for advancement. We are seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our team. The successful candidate will work with a dedicated team of lawyers and clerks and be involved in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions including purchases, sales, refinances, private lending, condominiums, assignments, new construction, and enforcement matters.
Qualifications and Attributes:
• 2+ years of private practice experience working in residential real estate;
• Excellent knowledge of real estate law and practices;
• A member in good standing of The Law Society of Ontario;
• Specific transactional practice experience in residential and commercial purchase and sales, mortgage lending both at the private and institutional level;
• Corporate law and Commercial Real Estate experience would be an asset;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Proficiency in Unity and Teraview;
• A breadth and depth of technical legal knowledge, excellent business judgement, and strong analytical and drafting skills;
• Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, strong initiative, and the ability to work well on a variety of teams;
