NOC 62020 On Hold!!!
The Department of Labour, Skills, and Immigration has temporarily stopped allowing food service supervisors (NOC 62020) to apply through two specific immigration programs:
• For the Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry (NSEEE) stream, work experience as a food service supervisor (NOC 62020) is currently not accepted.
• For the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), job offers for food service supervisors (NOC 62020) are also not eligible at this time.
Businesses in the food and hospitality sectors can still use the Skilled Worker stream to hire food service supervisors.
Employers can also hire food and beverage servers (NOC 65200) as well as food counter attendants, kitchen helpers, and similar support roles (NOC 65201) through the Occupations in Demand (OiD) stream.
