Hi folks, I am happy to share that I have developed a closing cost calculator, www.goldenpineslaw.com/closing-cost-calculator, to help bring greater transparency to fellow Islanders as they navigate their property transactions! For the time being, the calculator is only available for purchases and sales. If there is an interest for refinances please let me know and I will consider adding that functionality. All are free to start using the tool now. Any feedback would be appreciated, as would any sharing of this post to spread the news to others who may benefit from the use of this tool! IMPORTANT NOTE: this calculator uses my current fees and is not representative of the legal fees charged by other lawyers and law firms. Thank you - Filip

We are hiring!!! I am looking to fill a hybrid role combining paralegal support, office management, and legal operations in a modern, technology-forward practice. I'm looking for someone who is organized, reliable, tech-comfortable, and confident handling a variety of work. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are required. The role is based in Summerside. Remote work is available where the job allows, likely 1 to 2 days per week. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 depending on experience and fit, with the possibility of a 4-day work week, no set vacation days, and profit-sharing, among other perks & compensation.
