Boy oh boy has it been a while since I posted here! It has been a crazy year--I moved, started multiple partnerships with international schools and private academies, and in general have just been too busy to keep this site up to date. If you're looking to come to Canada through Express Entry with the help of a representative, ask them to share with you your "CRS points total". These are the points your profile will earn WITHOUT a job offer or provincial nomination. If your points are less than 400, even less than 420, but your representative says anything like "you will definitely be successful", then DO NOT pay them money. Especially if you don't qualify for a provincial program. The competition is intense in this program and no one can promise you results; if they do, it's because they want your money.

Just spoke to a person in South Africa who spent over $3,500 for a consultant before they had even created their profile! And she would have never been successful anyway. Saving people from paying someone else more money for empty promises is a huge part of my job, unfortunately.
