Did you know that the interest rate you qualify for can have a major impact on how much home you can afford?

When interest rates change, your monthly payment changes too. And that can affect your maximum purchase price, borrowing power, and overall cost of owning a home.

💡 HERE’S WHY IT MATTERS:

🔹 Interest rate — The cost of borrowing money from your lender.

🔹 Mortgage payment — A higher rate can mean a higher monthly payment, even if the home price stays exactly the same.

🔹 Buying power — When rates increase, you may qualify for less. When rates decrease, your purchasing power may improve.
