Over the past two decades, Manitoba has passed legislation aimed at phasing out existing sewage ejector systems due to issues with leaking and runoff into Manitoba’s waterways. More recently, the provincial government amended the Onsite Wastewater Management Regulations (60/2010), enacted under The Environment Act, to further alter the process for sewage disposal in the Province.

We are pleased to also have Joshua E.J. Dondo join SNJ as an Articling Student at Law.

After growing up in St. Claude, Manitoba, he studied Philosophy at Canadian Mennonite University and the University of Manitoba before entering the University of Manitoba’s Robson Hall Faculty of Law in 2023.

He earned his Juris Doctor in 2026 with a concentration in Access to Justice in French.

Marc grew up in the Ste. Anne area.

He enjoyed a successful career with Manitoba Hydro before going back to school.

Marc was recognized as having the highest grade in Access to Justice and was an executive member of both the Manitoba Indigenous Law Students Association and the Robson Hall Labour and Employment Club and a key member of the Robson Hall Jets hockey team.
