Happy 40th birthday to the love of my life ❤️
If I could sit down with the younger version of us and tell her everything that was waiting for her, I don’t think she could have imagined a love like this. We’ve grown up together, changed together, built a life together, and somehow, after almost half of our lives side by side, I still get butterflies when I look at you.
You are everything I ever prayed for and so much more. You’re the sweetest husband, the most devoted father to our three boys, my safe place, my shoulder to cry on, my voice of reason, and the person I know I can always come home to.
You have such a beautiful way of seeing the good in life, even when things aren’t easy. You’re the optimistic one, the kindhearted one, and the one who reminds me to look at the glass as half full. Through every chapter of our lives, you’ve stood beside me through the good, the hard, the beautiful, and everything in between.
Watching you become the father you are has made me love you in a way I didn’t even know was possible. Our boys are so lucky to call you Dad, and I’m so lucky I get to watch you love them every day.
Forty years of you. I hope this next decade brings you all the happiness, love, success, and peace you deserve. I hope you know how deeply you are loved, how much you mean to our family, and how grateful I am for every year, every memory, every laugh, every challenge, and every moment we’ve shared.
