Deb Archambault - Shuswap Real Estate

Deb Archambault - Shuswap Real Estate Deb Archambault Personal Real Estate Corporation Living in the Shuswap since 1997 🏡 Helping clients buy & sell with RE/MAX since 2013.

I bring great communication, organization & a personal touch to every move. Let’s find your perfect place together! 😊 Realtor® with RE/MAX Shuswap
I have been living in the Shuswap community since 1997, the first 8 yrs. in Blind Bay and I now in Salmon Arm. Although I was born and raised in Ontario – the Shuswap is my home. My Western life started in the lower mainland however, after experiencing

the Shuswap for its beauty and outdoor adventures – all it took was one Houseboat Trip – I fell in love and was fortunate to get transferred to the Area! The communities are small and the environment was one in which I wanted to raise a family – a good decision all around and I have never looked back. In the winter months, you can find me on the curling rink, or carving my way down (slowly) on the slopes. While the summer is reserved for Golfing, on one of the many courses in the Shuswap, or taking to the water for a paddle. My true joy, however, lies in spending quality time with friends, family and the many clients I have had the pleasure of working with. Whether you're seeking the perfect home to buy, ready to sell the one you’re in, or simply want to chat about the Shuswap’s Real Estate Market, I would be happy to be your go-to person for both professional guidance and genuine conversation. With me you'll find a Real Estate Agent who embodies the values of trust, care, and authenticity with a commitment to honesty and integrity. As YOUR Real Estate Agent, I look forward to helping you find that new address or sell the one you are at. It will be great to meet you! Trading space for location is one of the biggest lifestyle decisions in real estate.

A smaller home in a prime area can mean shorter commutes, walkable amenities, and more time spent living your life instead of getting to it. On the other hand, more space can mean flexibility, comfort, and room to grow into your next chapter.

The real question is not just about square footage. It is about what kind of daily life you want to wake up to.

Is location worth the trade for less space, or does space win when it comes to how you actually live?

Reach out for guidance on finding the balance that fits your lifestyle and long term goals.

Open floor plans look amazing on paper with bright, airy, and connected spaces that feel perfect for modern living.

But when kids enter the picture, there are a few real life things worth considering:

👶 Easier supervision while cooking, working, or multitasking
🔊 Noise travels fast with no walls to absorb sound
🧺 Mess is always visible, even when you are not “in that room”
🧘‍♀️ Less privacy or quiet space when you need a reset
❤️ More together time and shared moments throughout the day
📦 Furniture and layout have to work harder to define each space

It is not about good or bad design. It is about how the space supports your daily rhythm.

With kids in the home, is open concept something you would choose, or would you add more separation?
