Our office will be closed from December 22nd to January 2nd, 2024.
To all my clients, past and present, I wish the best of holidays with friends and family.

To all my clients,
As for everyone, I am doing what is needed in these difficult times. This means I will not be doing in person consultations. I will continue to provide you all services by phone or video conferencing. As most of you know by now, the Ontario Superior Courts are closed for the time being. Do not worry, this does not mean that your important family matters will be unaddressed; it will however mean additional delays. I understand that this is a cause of additional stress in an already difficult situation. Rest assured that I will do everything in my power to ensure that urgent issues will be resolved to the best of my ability. Please be patient, take care of yourselves and your families and stay healthy.

The law sees the institution of marriage as an equal partnership and therefore if a married couple lived in a home and used it as their matrimonial home, the law usually wants to see an equal division of matrimonial property regardless of the ownership of the house.
