Since 2006, Venvi Renaissance Retirement Living has been a place so many are proud to call home. Right in the heart of downtown Regina, Venvi is a beautiful care home that makes everyone who comes in feel welcome. Their team is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for every resident, with special events, birthday and anniversary celebrations, and a variety of exciting activities.

Today, we were lucky enough to catch a 70th wedding anniversary celebration for 2 residents and got to see the efforts and dedication of the team. ❤️

Congratulations on 20 years of serving the community, and many more to come! 😊

Downtown just got a lot more vibrant! 💐🌸🌹

This week the RDBID team was out and about planting some beautiful flowers around downtown.

This year we are planting over 200 flowers. We are so excited to bring more colour and beauty for everyone to enjoy! Thank you to the Provincial Capital Commission Wascana Centre for providing the gorgeous flowers 💐

Make sure to take it all in this summer and smell the flowers! 🥰

60 YEARS OF SASK SPORTS HALL OF FAME 🏈⚽️🏀

Since 1966, the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame has preserved stories, achievements, and the history of sport across our province.

Make sure to stop by in honour of 60 years and experience the ‘Played Here’ timeline, showcasing the history of sport throughout the province.

You can also celebrate this milestone with a limited edition retro 60th anniversary t-shirt, available through their website.

Game Changers: Pride In Sport, is a new exhibit at the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame celebrating Pride Month in Saskatchewan, highlighting the stories and accomplishments of Saskatchewan’s 2SLGBTQIA+ athletes who have broken down barriers. As part of the exhibit, Oliver Tymo, who did the research and put together the exhibit, will host a discussion on the research and curation of the exhibit at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 11 at the Hall of Fame (2205 Victoria Avenue). The event is free of charge, with donations accepted.
