Robert was raised in Regina and attended Luther College. Robert attended the U of S where he obtained a BA in '91 and subsequently obtained his LL.B in '95. Robert joined MacKay and McLean as an articling student in 95 and became a partner in 2001.

In his free time, Robert enjoys spending time with his family, practicing martial arts, playing hockey, fishing, camping, and hunting.
