We're excited to introduce you to our University of Calgary Law Student and Legal Innovation Intern, Deborah Uwagboi.

Deborah “Debby” Uwagboi is an incoming second-year law student at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Economics with Honours at the University of Regina, where she also conducted research on the affordability of energy transition through the Department of Economics.

Deborah’s early legal experience includes an internship with the Law Society of Saskatchewan, where she contributed to improving the technologies used to streamline the complaints and investigation intake process.

Debby is a volunteer like we are, and enjoys cooking and baking, investigative journalism, running, and planning memorable events with friends and family in her downtime!
