Pickering home prices jump 3.6 per cent to $951,065 in July 2026
July 2026 saw the average home price in Pickering reach $951,065—a 3.6% increase from June, although still 2.2% lower than the same time last year. Sales and listings both declined, while detached homes experienced the sharpest drops, down 5.8% month-over-month and 7.7% year-over-year. Other property types showed more variation. July 2026 brought a noticeable tightening in the GTA resale housing market. Home sales dipped by 0.9%, new listings saw a significant 17.8% decrease, and condo sales edged down by 0.1%. Townhome sales declined overall by 2.7%, but interestingly, they rose by 8.7% within Toronto itself. Both prices and the Home Price Index moved lower.
