– Suing or defending up to $35,000
– Increasing to $50,000 on October 1, 2025

✅ Landlord & Tenant Board
– Evictions, rent disputes, repairs, maintenance issues, illegal entries, etc.

✅ Provincial Offences
– Traffic tickets, municipal and by-law charges

✅ Certain Criminal Code matters (Summary Convictions)
– Where the maximum penalty is two years less a day

✅ Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario
– Workplace or housing discrimination matters

✅ WSIB / WSIA matters
– Workplace injury claims, return-to-work disputes, appeals

✅ Commissioning / Notary Services

Thank you to everyone who attended the Pembroke Community Watch meeting on Thursday night. We had our largest turnout since the program began over five years ago, which speaks to the seriousness of the issues the neighbourhood and community is facing.

We appreciate everyone who shared their concerns and personal experiences. These honest conversations are not easy, but they are necessary if we want to see real change.
