We didn’t add paralegal services to expand a menu, we added them because we kept seeing the same problem.

People in our community needing help with legal issues that didn’t always require a lawyer… but still required real guidance, accountability, and someone local who would take them seriously.

By bringing paralegal services into Blanchet Law, we’re able to:

✅ Small Claims Court
– Suing or defending up to $35,000
– Increasing to $50,000 on October 1, 2025

✅ Landlord & Tenant Board
– Evictions, rent disputes, repairs, maintenance issues, illegal entries, etc.

✅ Provincial Offences
– Traffic tickets, municipal and by-law charges

✅ Certain Criminal Code matters (Summary Convictions)
– Where the maximum penalty is two years less a day

✨ Did you know that Blanchet Law has officially moved into our new home! After long-awaited renovations, our doors are open in the beautifully refreshed space that many of you may remember as the old TD Bank downtown 🏦
