Since these posts have been so well received, we're going to keep sending them. Here's another look at Turn of the Century Paisley. The photos are all taken from postcards, mailed between 1908 and 1912

Taken from a postcard mailed in 1906, this is the oldest known (to us) photo of our office building. You may notice the awning on the south half of the building; incredibly, our office at this time was home to two separate businesses.

The photo seems to show a parade marching through Paisley. Given the Protestant history of the town, we suspect they wouldn't have been nearly as kind to Kelly & Kelly as the current residents.

By the 1850s, thousands of would-be settlers have descended upon the tiny village of Southampton. They've come for a piece of land to call their own.

Here's a great holiday postcard 1905 showing the train crossing the Teeswater River on its way through Paisley. The bridge was reinforced in 1926, and again in 1947, but still spans the river today.

Merry Christmas to our family and fiends in Paisley and the surrounding area.

Since the last one was so well received, here's another vintage look at our neighborhood, this time circa 1921. We're nestled in behind the Stationery store and the Grand Central.

The dirt road has been paved, the telegraph wires are long gone, but our humble office still stands on the same corner as it did in 1917. We still see an occasional horse and buggy too.
