Is that legal?

An employee signs a waiver and release knowingly agreeing that if he gets injured in the course of his employment, he won't sue his employer for compensation.

Ontario's Court of Appeal released a decision earlier this week in which it confirmed that employees fired "for cause" may still be entitled the receipt of certain severance benefits, an issue about which I have been writing for nearly a decade.
