Can condo fees in Ottawa randomly increase? Not exactly… but they can change more than some buyers expect. 👀

Condo fees are based on the actual costs of running and maintaining the building — things like insurance, snow removal, landscaping, utilities, maintenance, and reserve fund contributions.

And while higher fees can sound scary, they are not always a bad thing. In many cases, it means the condo corporation is planning ahead and properly maintaining the building for the future.
