BOS Law is pleased to announce that our senior partner, David Bertschi will be a speaker and panelist at the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators’, Symposium on "Clinical Fundamentals - MSK I, The Spine" on Friday, March 22, 2024, in Toronto. David will present, debate and answer questions on the best practices for Experts in writing defensible reports and preparing for and testifying at trial or Arbitration.

For 90 years, Canadians from coast to coast to coast have placed a poppy above their hearts on November 11th to honor all those who have served and continue to serve Canada.
Si comme moi un membre de votre famille, un parent ou un grands-parents, a servi ou est toujours au service de notre pays, il ou elle mérite notre respect, notre gratitude et notre soutien.
Not everyone can attend a Remembrance Day ceremony, but no matter where we are, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we all pause and reflect for 2 minutes of silence in observation of the price paid for our freedom, for our prosperity and for our sovereignty.
Even today, Canadian men and women continue to offer themselves thanklessly in defence of our democracy, in defence of our families and loved ones, and in defence of this great nation.

From the trenches of Afghanistan, the bitter cold in Korea, machine gun fire at Dunkirk and the rain of Passchendaele, and on countless peacekeeping missions, Canadians have fought and defended democracy and freedom.
Take the time to stop a Veteran on the street and say thank you.

David will be one of the featured speakers at a CSME (Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators) webinar on March 11, 2021 on “Challenges in Performing Functional Assessments in 2021: Practical and Legal Implications”. This webinar will address the effect of COVID-19 on physical interaction and community evaluations, transparency and consent, understanding the purpose of the assessments, what and how assessors should use various protocols and assessment tools, challenges regarding cognitive FAE, the defensibility of assessments in preparing their reports and in testifying before the trier of fact.
