He pursued his undergraduate studies in commerce at Dalhousie University and the University of Wales. He studied law at the University of Ottawa, and won a national first place factum award from the Davies Ward and Beck Securities Moot competition. igation. From the outset, it was clear that Mr. Lewandowski belonged in Court. He began his law career at Beament Green, a high-end civil litigation firm in 2003. He learned that civil litigation provided insufficient court time, and thus the transition to criminal defence was made in 2004. Lewandowski garnered his experience from within the trenches of the criminal justice system, where he quickly amassed an array of trial victories on cases that other lawyers deemed “unwinnable.” After eight years of practice, Mr. Lewandowski decided to begin his own firm. Lewandowski has earned a reputation for being an able and thoroughly prepared lawyer. He is currently an associate professor at Algonquin College in criminal law and routinely receives top ratings as a “dynamic, engaging professor.” These skills are equally applied in the courtroom. He was also selected as a speaker at the yearly Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa Conference in 2011.
