Fall in Ottawa is hard to beat. 🍂Here are 3 of our favourite ways to enjoy the season:

🍁 Explore Gatineau Park – Take a hike, enjoy the scenic lookouts and soak in the incredible red, orange and golden foliage. Peak colours typically arrive in early to mid-October. 

🍎 Go Apple Picking – Head to a local orchard, pick your own apples and enjoy all the seasonal treats that come with it. Apple-picking season generally runs from late August through October. 

🎃 Visit a Pumpkin Patch or Corn Maze – Make a day of it with pumpkins, hayrides, mazes and plenty of fall fun for the whole family.

Summer schedule: slow mornings, spontaneous plans, patio dinners, and absolutely no idea what day it is. ☀️

September schedule: alarms are back, the calendar is packed, everyone needs to be somewhere at 5:30, and suddenly you’re planning your week three days in advance. 😂

It’s amazing how quickly we go from “we’ll deal with that in September” to “okay, what does everyone have going on this week?”

And just like that, summer is winding down and fall home-buying season is here. 🏡🍂
