We tied the knot!

This was at our wedding in Prince Edward County.

Mel and I met in December 2019, thankfully before everything shut-down 3 months later.

We met online: the way the cool kids meet these days ;)

Our wedding was exactly what we wanted. Quiet and intimate, with our immediate family to witness.

My father, a retired Justice of the Peace, was the officiant, which was super memorable.

Over dinner, everyone took a turn on the microphone, sharing a story or tale that the other side may not have known. Somehow I was thrown under the bus way more than Mel was 🙂

Looking back over the past few years, I’m so glad I swiped “left” - I couldn’t imagine a better partner in Crime!

I believe you always have a choice. No matter what happens you can find the good.

Sometimes it takes a little longer to find that lesson…

I read a quote recently by Steve Jobs, "You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward" meaning that you cannot predict how your life will turn out, but you can make sense of it by reflecting on your past experiences.

This is well said and I firmly believe in this!

As I weave through my day-to-day life and sometimes wonder what this is all about … I reflect back 3,5 even 10 years back and I can see the dots.
