We are proud to share that Mann Lawyers has once again been recognized as one of Ottawa’s Best Places to Work by the Ottawa Business Journal, earning the award for the second consecutive year in 2026.

Now in its 12th year, the annual awards program invites local organizations to complete in-depth employer questionnaires and conduct employee engagement surveys. This year's program, managed by the Workforce Research Group in partnership with OBJ, saw dozens of organizations participate, with more than 1,300 employees sharing their input. The top 20 companies are recognized as Best Places to Work.

“This year, OBJ probed how organizations were adopting AI in the workplace. That is the focus of our special report. However, what I noticed was that recipient companies are connected to their teams in a very human way,” says OBJ Publisher Michael Curran. “Employees at these companies are much more likely to agree with their organization’s mission or tell researchers they feel valued. We might be living in a technology revolution, but the best employers focus on human innovation.”

Earlier this week, Colton Allen and Maggie Casey had the pleasure of attending the Ottawa Board of Trade cruise on the Ottawa River. It was a wonderful evening to connect with fellow professionals, business owners, and community leaders, while enjoying some of the best views our city has to offer. At Mann Lawyers, we know that great relationships are built through genuine conversations and a shared commitment to our community.

Our foursome enjoyed attending the Home Builders of Ottawa Women Leaders (HOWL) Summer Golf Day and connecting with so many accomplished professionals from across Ottawa's residential construction industry. The tournament supported the important work of Shepherds of Good Hope, helping provide shelter and support to individuals experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable members of our community.

Thank you to the Greater Ottawa Home Builders'​ Association (GOHBA), Soula Burrell, the event sponsors, and the staff and volunteers whose dedication made the day such a success.
