Saviez-vous que le mois de novembre est le mois du testament? Si vous n'avez pas de testament, profitez du mois de novembre pour explorer vos options en matière de planification successorale. N'oubliez pas qu'il est recommandé de réviser votre testament à chaque évènement significatif dans votre vie tel que:

- la naissance d'un enfant
- le décès d'un être cher
- l'acquisition d'une propriété ou d'un actif significatif
- un divorce ou une séparation
- une nouvelle relation conjugale
- une nouvelle police d'assurance-vie
- un bénéficiaire handicapé

Plus de 51% des canadiens n'ont pas de testament et 31% des canadiens ont un testament qui n'est pas à jour. En n'effectuant pas la mise à jour de votre planification successoral, il se peut que votre patrimoine ne réflète pas vos volontés et soit dévolu en vertu des lois ontariennes plutôt que votre testament. - You’ve had a child
- You’ve bought a house or major asset
- You’ve divorced or separated
- You’ve started a new relationship
- You’ve got a new life insurance policy
- You have a disabled beneficiary
- You’ve received an inheritance

Over 51% of Canadians do not have a Will or last Testament and 31% have an outdated Will.
