The August 2026 numbers are in from the Ottawa Real Estate Board, and Sean's read is good news for anyone shopping: choices are up, prices are reasonable, and mortgage rates are better than the 50-year average. 1,002 sales, 4,496 active listings (about 40% more inventory than a year ago), and an average sale price of $688,253, basically flat from last August.
