Did you know that for the last 10 years Simon and I have been putting together a Nanton Real Estate Year-in-Review? We’re proud to share this year’s summary and a look ahead to what 2026 may bring.

2025 in a nutshell: Nanton stayed active, with more homes coming to market and buyers having a bit more choice as the year went on. Prices held up well overall, and properly priced homes still attracted strong interest, just with more normal, balanced negotiations than the early part of the year.

What we expect for 2026: A balanced-to-slight-seller market is the most likely path. Spring and early summer should be the busiest, with conditions tightening when demand rises. If inventory builds later in the year, we could see a softer, more buyer-friendly finish especially for homes that are overpriced or need work.

If you’re planning a move in 2026, we can tell you what’s realistic for your specific home (or wish-list) and the timing that tends to work best in Nanton.
