🇱🇰 🇹🇭 Sri Lanka and Thailand are moving toward visa-free travel.

Sri Lanka has approved a proposal for a mutual visa-free travel agreement with Thailand, potentially allowing passport holders from both countries to visit for up to 30 days per trip, with a maximum of 90 days within 180 days.

The agreement has not yet been signed or implemented, and an official start date is still to be announced.

A trip between Seychelles and Tajikistan could soon come with one less step. 🇸🇨🇹🇯

The two countries have signed a visa waiver agreement covering short stays in both directions. Once it takes effect, passport holders will be able to visit for up to 30 days at a time, with a maximum of 90 days in a calendar year.

Ghanaian passport holders can now travel visa-free to the Maldives, Antigua & Barbuda, and Zambia. The agreements cover ordinary, service and diplomatic passports, so the doors open wide.

Here’s how long you can stay:
🇲🇻 Maldives, 30 days
🇦🇬 Antigua & Barbuda, 90 days
🇿🇲 Zambia, 30 days

Standard entry rules still apply, and work, study or residence need separate authorization. But for tourism and short stays, it’s just a passport and a plan.

✈️ Big change for Thailand travelers.

Starting September 15, 2026, Thailand is cutting its visa-free stay from 60 days to 30. The new rule applies to 60 countries, including the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Planning a longer trip? You can extend once for up to 30 more days. And if you arrive before September 15, you’ll keep the full stay granted when you enter, so no need to rush your plans.

Türkiye just opened its doors a little wider for Algerian travelers, and the details matter.

If you hold an ordinary Algerian passport and you’re under 15 or over 50, you can now enter without a visa. Fall between those ages? A valid Schengen, US, UK, or Irish visa or residence permit could still get you an e-Visa. And for anyone already traveling on an official passport, nothing changes: the 90-day visa-free window stays exactly as it was.
