With over 13 years experience and 3 years certified, here is what I noticed as a consultant.

1) Unfortunately many people think they have a healthy relationship but if you are to take away the addiction to alcohol, w**d and all other drugs, they came to realize they have anger issues and untreated trauma.

2) The problems many are faced with, when given the solution they become defensive to the truth or goes into self denial and Unfortunately, no consulting can treat self denial.

3) Many treat God as topic they cover on special holidays but still think that his grace will outlast their ignorance. Even God has a limit to your ways.

4)And lastly, many couple spend years together to finally break on issues a size of a grain of rice dealing with it, with no maturity, the main reason is due to trauma they continue to hide behind addiction.

In conclusion, to these people no you do not need a consultation, first you need the Holy
Spirit to clean you up and second therapy and rehabilitation do help.
