Express Entry Draw – January 7, 2026 (Canadian Experience Class)

The year 2026 has begun with a strong emphasis on candidates already in Canada. In the January 7, 2026 Express Entry draw, IRCC invited 8,000 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates with CRS scores of 511 and above to apply for permanent residence. This reflects a continued policy focus on skilled workers who are actively employed in Canada, paying taxes, and contributing to the economy—an approach that aligns well with on-the-ground realities.

It is encouraging to see this policy direction taking shape early in the year. To further support workforce stability and economic growth, consistent and larger CEC draws throughout 2026—ideally bringing CRS cutoffs closer to the 500 range—would be a positive and realistic step. Notably, the highest number of CEC invitations was issued on February 13, 2021, demonstrating IRCC’s capacity to conduct large-scale draws when aligned with policy objectives.

As of now, IRCC has already issued 8,574 Express Entry invitations in 2026, signaling an active start to the year and renewed hope for candidates with Canadian experience.

Client Testimonials

Understanding a client’s mindset is one of the most valuable things you can do for your business. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, and the better we understand their experience, the better service we can deliver. I often reflect on this by asking myself a simple question: What do I want my clients to say about their journey with me?

Testimonials answer that question powerfully. Studies show that 72% of people trust a business more after reading positive reviews. Genuine client testimonials build credibility, reduce skepticism, and help prospective clients visualize their own success when they choose to work with you.

Bill C-3: An Act to amend the Citizenship Act (2025)

The bill aims to resolve the status of individuals who lost their Canadian citizenship due to gaps in previous laws, and to create a new framework for passing citizenship to children born abroad beyond the first generation. The bill would also restore or grant citizenship descendants who were excluded under older citizenship laws.

This reform promises to restore citizenship to so-called “Lost Canadians” and introduces a new, fairer frameworkfor passing on Canadian citizenship across generations. The bill is on a tight deadline to be passed by the November 21, 2025 court deadline
