π¨ Important Immigration Update π¨
Canada has announced a temporary suspension of immigration documents for residents of Uganda, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) effective May 27 at 11:59 PM EDT.
Individuals from these countries will not be permitted to travel to Canada, even if they currently hold:
βοΈ Temporary Resident Visas (TRV)
βοΈ Permanent Resident Visas
βοΈ Electronic Travel Authorizations (eTA)
According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, these temporary border measures have been introduced due to the βhigh or very high risk of outbreak of Ebola disease.β
β³ The restrictions are expected to remain in effect for the next 90 days and may be extended to additional countries if the Ebola outbreak risk increases globally.
If you are affected by these new measures or have questions regarding your immigration application, our team at Devamic Immigration is here to guide you with the latest updates and professional support.
