🚨 **Bill C-12: Final Letter Received — What Happens Next?**

If you received a **final ineligibility letter** under Canada’s new Bill C-12 rules, your case may now move to **CBSA for removal proceedings**.

At this stage, some individuals may be assessed for eligibility for a **Pre-Removal Risk Assessment (PRRA)**.

⚠️ Don’t ignore a letter from IRCC or CBSA. Deadlines and next steps can be extremely important.

🚨 Major OINP Update – Ontario Introduces the New Workforce Priority Stream (OWPS) EOI Points System! 🇨🇦
Ontario has officially released the new Expression of Interest (EOI) points system for the Ontario Workforce Priority Stream (OWPS). Candidates will be ranked based on their EOI score, and the highest-ranked candidates may receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for provincial nomination.
📊 Your EOI score may be based on factors such as:
✅ Work location in Ontario
✅ Occupation (NOC/TEER)
✅ Hourly wage
✅ Ontario work experience
✅ Education
✅ Language proficiency (CLB)
✅ Canadian education
✅ Income history
✅ Work permit status..and other eligible factors.
⚠️ This new scoring system changes how candidates are ranked. Improving your profile, such as increasing your language score, gaining additional Ontario work experience, or meeting other scoring criteria, may improve your EOI score and your chances of receiving an ITA.

Are your LMIAs facing refusal? If the wage jumps drastically—like from $20 to $36—without a solid reason, it may get refused. Similarly, if you offer a diesel or heavy-duty mechanic position but the work is really just car or trailer repair, it may also be refused. Ensure job duties and required licensing are aligned!

A “dummy” work permit application may have consequences beyond a refusal. Applications filed without genuine eligibility, supporting documents, an LMIA, or a valid exemption code could affect future applications, including visitor records, study permits, and permanent residence. In some cases, submitting false or misleading information may also lead to findings of misrepresentation. Plan carefully before you apply.
