π¨π¦ PART TIME WORK EXPERIENCE WITH VARYING HOURS FOR CANADA PR
Do varying work hours make you confused about whether your experience can count toward Canadian PR?
If you work 15β30 hours per week, it is generally considered part-time work. If you work 30 hours or more per week, it is considered full-time work.
Even if your position is officially part-time, working 30+ hours per week may allow the experience to be counted as full-time work experience, subject to the applicable program requirements.
If your hours vary, 30 hours per week for 52 weeks can be used to meet the one-year full-time work experience requirement. Weeks in which you worked 15 hours or more may also be combined, depending on the applicable immigration program.
Understanding how your work experience is calculated is important when planning your PR application.
