CANADA IMMIGRATION UPDATE
Foreign workers with valid work permits may now be able to study in Canada without a study permit under a new temporary public policy.
Eligible work permit holders can study for up to 6 months, or until their work permit expires, whichever comes first. The measure is intended to give workers more flexibility to pursue short-term education, training, licensing, and skill development.
The policy is currently in effect until December 31, 2027. However, eligibility requirements apply, and full-time studies still require a study permit.
