She has over 15 years of experience advising Individuals & leading companies on Real Estate, Technology, Commercial, IP, Start-up, Media, and Corporate matters. Simmi founded Chacko Law after her role as an in-house counsel at Cisco Systems Canada, Telus, GCGC (Great Canadian Gaming Corporation) & MDA Corp. In her previous roles, she acted as counsel and negotiated contracts for businesses ranging in size from Fortune 500 companies to entrepreneurs and start-up companies. A dynamic lawyer with broad business experience in the technology, commercial/professional services, software/hardware, new media, online/e-commerce, finance, and Real Estate industries, Simmi is recognized as a valued advisor and problem solver with exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills. She has an extensive background in managing and negotiating complex transactions creating significant value and measurable results for her clients. Simmi brings significant project management, negotiation, value creation, and analytical skills, as well as a strong background in corporate and operational compliance and legal risk management. In her free time, Simmi enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, hiking, and exploring beautiful Ontario.
