Ontario dropped Ontario Regulation 422/17 amendments on June 26, 2026, replacing all 8 remaining OINP streams with a single new program: the Ontario Workforce Priority Stream.

This is Phase 1 of a 2-phase redesign.

The three new pathways inside the stream:

1. TEER 0-3 High Skilled Workers
2. TEER 4–5 Lower-skilled workers
3. Self-Employed Physicians OHIP-eligible MDs.
