Road trip + real estate + a behind-the-scenes look at the future of housing! 🏡🚗

Had a fantastic road trip with some great real estate colleagues to Sussex, New Brunswick, for a factory tour at Prestige Homes. Such a fun and incredibly informative experience!

Modular homes continue to grow in popularity and are expected to play an important role in increasing housing supply in the years ahead. Seeing the process firsthand gives me an even better understanding of what’s involved - knowledge I can put to work helping future buyers navigate their options.

And I can speak from experience: I’m a recent Prestige Homes customer myself and can absolutely vouch for both their quality and customer service.

I wish I could share more photos and videos, but cameras weren’t allowed inside the factory….so you’ll have to take my word for it - there’s a lot more happening behind those walls than you might imagine!

Learning, planning…and chocolate. Not a bad few days!

Halifax played host to this year’s Annual KW Atlantic Conference, welcoming agents from across the country - some from as far away as BC.

Jeff Glover delivered some fantastic business-planning insights to set us up for a strong year ahead, while Dan Lametti from Acadia University gave us a fascinating deep dive into how AI actually works - including its limitations - so we can prompt better and use its output more confidently.

And to close things out, Tariq Hadhad of Peace by Chocolate shared his incredibly moving story of triumph over adversity. His unwavering positivity really struck me - and leaving with some of his chocolates certainly helped me absorb a little of it! 😂🍫

Conferences like this matter to me because I believe there’s always more to learn, improve and bring back to the people I serve.
