Ontario MLS® Market Shows Continued Activity as July Sales Stay Above Average

Residential sales activity reported through the MLS® Systems of real estate boards in Ontario totalled 95,887 units over the first seven months of the year, representing a 1.9% decrease compared to the same period in 2025. Despite the modest year-over-year decline, July saw above-average home sales, showing that buyers and sellers continue to remain active in the Ontario housing market.

The year-to-date average home price was $819,570, down 3.2% from the first seven months of last year. With prices remaining below 2025 levels and sales activity continuing, buyers may find more opportunities as they navigate the current market.
