Prevent Covid-19: Wear a mask. Ontario's guidelines NOT yet enough. Everyone should be wearing masks outside of our homes until
1) our testing numbers are higher and we have random community testing AND
2) we have enough PPE for our health care professionals and other essential workers AND
3) new CV19 cases are decreasing for 4 weeks OR
4) we have been vaccinated.

Ontario's Guidelines fail to protect workers and the public. There is not enough in any of the guidelines to protect workers from the asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic people in the workplace or in the public. And we have no data on how many people are in these highly contagious states. Watch this video, wearing a mask (any mask) helps prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Great news for employers: WSIB premium payment deferrals. All employers covered by the WSIB's workplace insurance are automatically eligible for the provisions of the relief package and can defer premium reporting and payments until August 31, 2020. They will not be required to opt in to receive this benefit.

The WSIB and WSIAT are still operating, on reduced staff, but not open to the public. You can upload online (WSIB), mail or fax your documents, ITOs, ARFs, and submissions. You can still call them.

WSIAT: All oral hearings scheduled up until April 3, 2020 must be postponed and rescheduled.
