Brigitte is passionate about helping animals in need and believes every animal deserves the chance to live a healthy, happy life and find their fur-ever home. Our first-ever FH&P Trivia Night is officially in the books!

With trivia master David Horvath leading the charge, teams put their knowledge to the test through a night of challenging questions, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs.

After a hard-fought battle, the lightning round came down to Team QHR and Team FH&P/Nicola Wealth. It was a close finish, but FH&P's own Jen Schruers crushed the buzzer round and secured the championship for Team FH&P/Nicola Wealth. 🏆⚡

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made our inaugural Trivia Night such a success. We loved seeing so many familiar faces and friendly rivalries around the room.

In British Columbia, those that have the right to challenge a will is less than most people think. Spouse. Child. Adopted child. That's the list.

A step-child who was never formally adopted has no legal standing to seek a variation, regardless of how long they were part of the family. It's not about the relationship. It's about legal status, and most people don't find that out until they're already in a lawyer's office.

In a historic first for the Summit, three companies secured investment in a single evening: Shuriii, Bullfinch, and Drawbridge. Together, they received a record-breaking $407,000 in funding.

The room was packed, the energy was electric, and the networking opportunities were endless. It was inspiring to see investors, entrepreneurs, and community leaders come together to support innovation and business growth in the Okanagan.

Great conversations, fresh perspectives, and plenty of laughs.

We were pleased to welcome our friends from MNP to the office for an afternoon of networking and reconnecting. While technology has made it easier than ever to communicate, there is still tremendous value in sitting down face-to-face, sharing ideas, and strengthening relationships.

The discussions ranged from business and community to industry trends and opportunities, reminding us that meaningful connections remain at the heart of professional growth and collaboration.
