Fulton is proud to share that this year's Heney Cup once again brought out some friendly competition, and meaningful community impact. Thanks to a winning wager from Partner Dan Carroll, $1,000 was donated to the Kamloops Hospice Association.

A huge congratulations to our 2026 Heney Cup champions, Tana Jones & Fran Bruno, and many thanks to Rick Heney for continuing to champion this tradition of fun and giving back.

Heney Cup 2026!

Another Heney Cup is in the books! Last week, our Fulton ladies joined friends from various companies and hit the course for a day of golf, laughs, friendly competition, and great company - all in honour of our beloved Rick Heney. This year's theme was "Rick through the eras"... did you know he was an electrician?

Congratulations to Fran Bruno & Tana Jones on taking home the win!

Dan Carroll, our winning partner, will be donating his $1,000 winnings to Kamloops Hospice, making an already great day even more meaningful.

On this , we're excited to share that Kait Methot has been appointed Fulton’s Chief Operating Officer.

Since joining our team in 2020, Kait has played a pivotal role in shaping our culture, strengthening our operations, and supporting the growth of our people and organization. Her leadership in Human Resources and her contributions to initiatives focused on mental health, equity, diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement have helped make our firm a stronger place to work and grow.

Beyond her formal role, Kait has been instrumental in the day-to-day operations of our firm, supporting teams across all offices and helping guide the many operational functions that keep our organization running efficiently. Her ability to balance strategic priorities with practical ex*****on, while always putting people first, has made her a trusted leader and valued partner throughout the company.

Alanda brings a diverse legal background spanning litigation, solicitor's work, and legal education. After many years practicing in Alberta, she was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2024 and is thrilled to bring her experience back to northern British Columbia to serve clients from our Prince George office.

Alanda's practice focuses on commercial financing, commercial real estate, corporate transactions, as well as wills and estate planning, with a particular interest in disability planning and rural property matters. Known for her calm and approachable presence, Alanda is committed to helping clients feel informed and confident when navigating important legal decisions.

Alanda earned her Juris Doctor from Western University in 2012, a Master of Arts from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2006. In addition to her legal practice, she has a passion for teaching and mentoring, currently serving as a Professor of Business Law at the University of Northern British Columbia. Her commitment to helping others learn, grow, and move forward with confidence is evident in both her professional and community involvement.
